If you own a Kinect, chances are you own one of the three Ubisoft games released on the platform in 2010. Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, MotionSports, and Fighters Uncaged make UBI the best selling 3rd party publisher in the past year according to the company’s statement.
Laurent Detoc, president of Ubisoft North America, stated:
“We believed in the potential of Kinect from the start and we set out to be the leading third-party publisher. It worked. But this is only the beginning for us. We’ll be bringing some of the industry’s most innovative offerings to Kinect soon, starting with Michael Jackson The Experience, Child of Eden and others. We will have something for everyone.”
Ubisoft will continue to provide big games on the platform in order to maintain their standing. Michael Jackson The Experience will release on Kinect on April 12, 2011 while Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s Child of Eden will also hit the platform in 2011.
