Take Two and Gearbox have finally announced that the obvious Borderlands 2 will become a reality. In a press release earlier this morning the software giant has confirmed the game for Fiscal Year 2013 which starts on April 1st, 2012.
Once you understand what that really means, you’ll come to the conclusion that we can expect the game sometime in Q2 2012.
Borderlands 2 features all-new characters, skills, environments, enemies, weapons and equipment, which come together in an ambitiously crafted story. Players will reveal secrets, and escalate mysteries of the Borderlands universe as they adventure across the unexplored new areas of Pandora.
The game will be playable and shown off at PAX Prime and CamesCom later this month. Borderlands 2 will release on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
