Well, well, we finally have some solid confirmation as to when we can expect the PlayStation Vita to launch in the United States and Europe. And that info is, definitely not in 2011, according to Sony’s Kaz Hirai who spoke with GI.biz.
Hirai noted that the device will not launch in these territories because Sony wants to make sure the Vita has a strong lineup and will satisfy consumers.
Vita may still launch in Japan before year’s end but we have no confirmation. Hirai also noted the device will not be sold at a lower price in light of the 3DS price drop.
