For those of you who have been wanting to ‘try before you buy’ with regards to Warhammer Space Marine from THQ, I have some good news.
THQ officially announced that a single player demo is coming ‘to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC later this month…’.
The Space Marine demo features two very different areas of the game. The first pits the player against an Ork horde outside the gates of a munitions factory. Armed with six devastating weapons, including the iconic bolter and lethal chainsword, the player will get to experience the seamless mix of melee and ranged combat first hand as they take on the rampaging invaders. The second area gives players a taste of the exhilarating Jump Pack sequences where the game’s hero – Captain Titus – takes to the skies to rain death from above.
Expect the demo to hit PC and Xbox LIVE on August 23rd and PSN on the 24th. If you are a Space Marine ‘Honour Guard’ community member, you can grab the demo 24 hours before everyone on the 22nd.
