It was only 2 years ago, in early 2010, that THQ and Vigil Games release a new IP on the gaming market – that was the beginning of the Darksiders series. THQ has recently revealed that Darksiders 2 will release on June 29th for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
While Darksiders tells the tale of the first horseman – War – Darksiders 2 will have players step into the shoes of Death, War’s brother and the second of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.
THQ and Vigil have given Darksiders 2 the premium treatment as it will vastly exceed the first game in size, quests and loot. Darksiders 2 will take Death between heaven and hell where he will try to call in favors to help his wrongly accused brother War.
As the story marches on with the horsemen of the apocalypse, Death will encounter many characters, friends and foes as he loots and upgrades his armor and abilities to achieve his goal.
With the excellent critical acclaim and fan support, Darksiders 2 is high on the list of gamers around the world and should provide a hell of a ride.
