Call of Duty Elite used to be a subscription based premium service which included stats, clans and more along with all of the DLC for Modern Warfare 3. Today Activision announced that the previous 50 Dollar subscription fee will be dropped and the service to be available free to all Black Ops 2 players.
You will still be able to buy all of the DLC upfront by dishing out 50 bucks or 4000 MSP for the discounted season pass or pay 15 Dollars (1200 MSP) for each of the individual DLC Map Packs.
