In a message from Irrational Games Creative Director Ken Levine, the studio head announced that fans can vote for a reversible cover for BioShock Infinite since the original cover isn’t quite what the fans wanted.
Of course there is a reason behind the ‘dude with a big gun on the front’ – to make sure people that shop at GameStop know that it’s a game with guns and dudes… you get the gist.
Anyway, Ken noted that fans will get to chose from six designs to make the cover before print deadlines. Fear not if these aren’t what you want, Irrational will also produce downloadable covers at a later time, it’s just that they want to include a fitting alternate art on the reverse cover for their loyal followers.
We chose number 4 because it seems to fit the period so, so well!
