Today Ubisoft released a new Watch Dogs video showcasing Aiden Pearce, the main protagonist of the new open world game from Ubisoft Monreal, as he makes his way around the city of Chicago which is the setting of the game. Pearce is utilizing the Central Operating System or ctOS as Ubisoft calls it.

Players will assume the role of Aiden Pearce, a new type of vigilante who, with the help of his smartphone, will use his ability to hack into Chicago’s ctOS and control almost every element of the city. Aiden will be able to tap into the city’s omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control systems such as traffic lights or public transportation to stop a chase, and more. The city of Chicago is now the ultimate weapon.

You will be able to play Watch Dogs later this year as it will make its way to PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, the WiiU and of course PC. While the new Xbox platform hasn’t been announced yet, we can assume it will be on that platform as well.
