Microsoft apologizes for #DealWithIt comments

Posted by: 4/5/2013

Yesterday Microsoft Creative Director Adam Orth tweeted that people should ‘Deal With It’ when it comes to an ‘always online’ gaming console which is rumored to be a feature of Microsoft’s next gen console code-named ‘Durango’.

His profile has since been made private and Microsoft issued an official apology and statement regarding the Microsoft employee.

“We apologize for the inappropriate comments made by an employee on Twitter yesterday. This person is not a spokesperson for Microsoft, and his personal views do not reflect the customer centric approach we take to our products or how we would communicate directly with our loyal consumers.  We are very sorry if this offended anyone, however we have not made any announcements about our product roadmap, and have no further comment on this matter.”

Orth said that gamers who live in an area where Internet is spotty or not sufficient enough to be utilizing an always online console, should just deal with it.

Can you deal with it? Answer.
