Slightly Mad Studios is best know for its work on the Need for Speed Shift and Shift 2 racing games for EA and also made up of some ex-SimBin guys which worked on GT Legends and GTR 2. Note the pedigree here?
Well, since about 2011 Slightly Mad has been working on Project CARS which stands for ‘Community Assisted Racing Simulator’. Project CARS is a crowd funded racing simulator that has been in development for quite some time and community members and backers have been able to test and provide input into the dev process.
Today Slightly Mad has released a new beautiful trailer for the game that will be coming to Xbox 360, PS3, WiiU and PC in 2014. While there is no word on the PS4 and Xbox One version, it seems like a logical step that those will be coming eventually.
