Armored Core: Verdict Day is now ready for orders

Today Namco Bamdai has released Armored Core: Verdict Day, the follow up to Armored Code V which is available on Xbox 360 and PS3. While much of the core gameplay is reminiscent of Armored Core V, there are some new things to it this year.

The world has been thrown into chaos. Important natural resources needed for the survival of competing factions are scavenged and fought across the world with deadly Armored Core units. A strong trigger finger, innovative customization and strategic teamwork will be all that stand between survival and complete annihilation.

Armored Code: Verdict Day still features the core mech multiplayer gameplay in a persistent world but players will still be able to play alone or team up in a team of 20.

One of the cool things to return to the game is operator mode in which players become the commanders of the battlefield where a top down view as well as in-cockpit feeds will provide a great picture of the battlefield. Operators will be able to set rally points or mark targets in real time.

Players will be able to transfer their saved data from Armored Core V to further experience their new content and customize their mechs with hundreds of options ranging from guns, armor pieces, shields and boosters.
