Today both EA Sports’ flagship franchise FIFA 14 as well as Konami’s new entry Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 are hitting store shelves and the match up may be closest we have seen in a long time. While EA Sports’ IGNITE engine based FIFA 14 is not hitting consoles until the PS4 and Xbox One are released, we will keep a close eye on just how much better that version will be than the current generation SKU that is out right now.
While FIFA usually builds on its strong base and is looking to make some good incremental improvements, Konami completely overhauled much of its game that is now developed in the FOX engine.
