Call of Duty Ghosts Clan Details and reveal Trailer

Multiplayer is obviously the biggest piece of the annual Call of Duty franchise as millions of copies are sold on day one and gamers heading online to prove their skills in the various modes. Often this includes playing in organized groups with friends and clans.

This year, for Call of Duty Ghosts, Activision and Infinity Ward will release a brand new Clan App to support the players. With the newly announced ‘Call of Duty Clan Wars Game’, as it is called, players will enjoy a new experience says Activision. Also, Activision announced cross-platform Clans for the first time. My ears perked up a bit there as cross-platform tracking and management is likely going to be a big deal for players who upgrade from Xbox 360 to PS4 for example and can take all of their clan info with them.

Also, starting today through October 25th, Call of Duty fans will be able create and/or join a Call of Duty: Ghosts Clan before the game’s launch in November.

Existing Call of Duty Elite Clan Leaders will be able to reserve their current Call of Duty Elite Clan Name as their Call of Duty: Ghosts Clan Name on a first-come, first-serve basis, as well as copy over and manage their existing Call of Duty Elite Clan Member roster. New players and players who don’t already have a Call of Duty Elite account can sign up for a free Call of Duty account to create their own Call of Duty: Ghosts Clan, or join an existing one.

Some pretty cool news for the organized and competitive Call of Duty crowd out there. Check out the trailer below.
