The November NPD data revealed that this month was a record breaker in many aspects and also showed that 2K Games’ did quite well when it comes to sports games on the PS4 and Xbox One.
“According to November 2013 NPD Data, NBA 2K14 was the best-selling sports video game on next generation consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and was the number four best-selling next-gen game overall,” said NPD analyst Liam Callahan.
This means of course only the United States and not the rest of the world but still shows that there was a high demand for a great next-gen Basketball game.
2K’s official statement had this to say.
