MGS Ground Zeroes: Wait for the Reviews before bashing it

Posted by: 2/9/2014

After Game Informer’s report that Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, which is a prologue to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, only takes two hours to complete the main campaign, gamers and fans of the franchise started crying out since the game will cost players about 30 bucks when it hits digital and retail outlets later this year.

Kojima actually responded to the outcry on Twitter stating that the game includes the main missions along with 5 side ops as he calls them and is more of a free mission approach and can be played various ways. In essence, the game isn’t about time rather than gameplay.

Of course, it isn’t quite a game at this short length, I can agree with that, but don’t start condemning Ground Zeroes before it even hits retail and the reviews are written. If it truly is a gross affair and a glorified demo as some call it, you don’t have to buy it or play it.

Gamers get up in arms quite frequently and over anything they perceive as unfit for their needs, we all recall the Mass Effect 3 ending hysteria right?

Let’s wait and see before we make up our mind about a game that hasn’t even released yet.
