Today Piranha Bytes and Deep Silver announced that the studio is working on Risen 3: Titan Lords which will take the the Risen franchise back to Piranha Bytes roots of making true RPG games. The third entry into the series is “a hand-crafted role-playing world full of rugged charm” as Piranha calls it.
The game will have every decision of the player change the course of the story and fate as well as, of course, the fate of the world. Risen 3: Titan Lords is set for release in August 2014 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
“Like a carpenter with a hand-crafted piece of furniture, we put together the story, the characters and the landscape – making it all fit together so that the player has the possibility to discover an entire universe,” says Bjoern Pankratz, Project Lead at Piranha Bytes. “Exploration is the key to our game.”
Piranha promises that the world of Risen 3: Titan Lords will be “diverse, authentic and full of life, providing the player with an authentic, classic RPG experience”.
