Today Warner Brothers and Rocksteady announced that it is developing Batman: Arkham Knight for the PS4, Xbox One and PC and that it will hit those platforms in 2014. We were hoping this was true and now we know for sure, Rocksteady, who made the superhero games relevant again, are at the helm of the next entry into the Arkham series.
Batman: Arkham Knight is going to be set in a larger Gotham and one year after the events of Batman: Arkham City, which was also developed by Rocksteady unlike last year’s Arkham Origins. Arkham Knight will feature a drivable batmobile for the first time in the series and of course have appearances of villains like Penguin, Scarecrow, Two-Face and Harley Quinn. Pre-ordering the game will also land you Harley Quinn as a playable character.
