We finally have that so hotly anticipated release date for Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto V for the new consoles and the PC! The game will arrive on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, 2014 with the PC version to follow January 27, 2015. While that is a slight delay for PC fans, at least we now have a firm date and can look forward to the mod-community going crazy!

There are quite a few upgrades and enhancements for GTA V when compared to its last gen counterparts apart from the major visual and technical upgrades to make Los Santos and Blaine County more immersive than ever, says Rockstar.

You can expect to see new weapons, vehicles and activities as well as additional wildlife. Traffic in the world will be more densliy populated and Los Santos will feel even more authentic. In addition to the we will see a new foliage system as well as enhanced damage and weather effects among other things.

The new versions of Grand Theft Auto V will also feature updated radio selections with over 100 additional new songs and new DJ mixes from returning DJs across the game’s 17 radio stations. This is really a requirenment for me as it will help make the world feel new again for returning players.

All players who pre-order the game will get $1,000,000 in-game bonus cash to spend across Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA$500K each for your Story Mode and for your GTA Online in-game bank accounts).

Rockstar says that ‘a host of new, exclusive content also awaits for players returning from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions’, which is nice to hear. These items include rare versions of classic vehicles to collect from across the Grand Theft Auto series such as the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane and a faster, a more maneuverable Blimp; activities including wildlife photography and new shooting range challenges, new weapons and more.

In addition to the new features in the single player of GTA V there will also be enhancements to Grand Theft Auto Online such as an increased player count, with online play now for up to 30 players on PS4 and Xbox One. All existing gameplay upgrades and Rockstar-created content released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online will also be available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC with much more to come.
