Today Bandai Namco release another developer diary for their hardcore RPG Lords of the Fallen which is centered around the games ‘feel’.
The video describes the careful balance in creating a rewarding and challenging gameplay experience without frustration and tedium. Along those lines, the team created bosses with special objectives (and resulting rewards) and deep combat mechanics and customization to allow gamers to play according to their own style. The weapon and armor types, the in-depth crafting system, magic abilities and level design ultimately create a gameplay system that revolves around dynamic combat and elaborate showdowns that feel fresh and engaging for players.
Lords of the Fallen is out now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
