Dying Light, the upcoming parkour-influenced action survival game, comes to life in an intense live-action POV video released today by Ampisound – these are the same guys who created that Mirrors Edge POV viral video – and Techland.
The video is inspired by the intense in-game pursuits found in the game, the Dying Light Parkour POV video shows you what it could actually be like as a runner, fleeing for his life from zombies through the rooftops of an abandoned city.
It is crazy to say that until I saw this video, I didn’t realize how much these Parkour runners point of view emulates what video games look like to us when we are playing them – or the other way around really.
Dying Light is set to release on January 27, 2015 (US); Jan 28, 2015 (Australia, New Zealand); Jan 30, 2015 (Europe and Asia).
