As you guys know, the Assetto Corsa DLC Dream Pack 1 will be released tomorrow via Steam and can be pre-ordered right now. The new DLC adds the legendary circuit of Nürburgring-Nordschleife and ten new classic and iconic cars to Assetto Corsa. One of the newly available layouts of Nordschleife included in the DLC is the “Tourist”.
The “Touristenfahrten” or Tourist Drives which may also be known to you as track days, is are most known and beloved configuration by all trackday and motorsports fans. Players will be driving through the “Park” to enter the circuit towards the end of the famous long uphill straight of “döttinger höhe” and then, after a whole lap, exiting again following the indications for the parking lot – just like the real world drivers who barrel up and down the famous German race track.
In order to let gamers to experience this virtual track day, Kunos Simulazioni has created a dedicated layout that is available in practice and multiplayer sessions and takes laptimes from the first lap under the bridge, until the structure at the start of the long straight of “döttinger höhe”.
