It is Friday, and there is no better way to spend the weekend than playing a new release, or continuing a game that you’ve been playing for a while. Either way, it is time for Weekend Gaming.

New Releases

Kerbal Space Program (PC) – Not necessarily a “new” game, but Kerbal Space Program has exited Steam Early Access with their 1.0 release of the game. You can expect a fully fledged career mode, fantastic visuals, and a lot of fun.

Crypt of the Necrodancer (PC) – Another game exiting Early Access, this dungeon crawler has an incredible twist: you can only move on the beat of a song. It is an awesome game, and will challenge players of all skill levels.

Guys….. GUYS! It is here, a new DiRT game from my friends at Codemasters and you can play it right now! Early Access has just received DiRT Rally this week and I have been playing the living hell out of it already and will continue to do so. While I only used the 360 pad on the PC, it is now time to move to the full sled setup with wheel, pedals and sequential gear shiftier. Will I still play some FIFA? Probably.

Brandon’s Weekend Gaming

After receiving my new GTX 980 graphics card in the mail, I plan on booting up some amazing looking games to test it out. Those games include BioShock Infinite, Tomb Raider, and Batman: Arkham City. I’ll also play some GTA V on PC, and Crypt of the Necrodancer. Busy weekend!
