Fallout 4 has received an extensive gameplay demo at tonight’s E3 Pre-Event which not only showed off the game but also given us news about a special edition that comes with the new Pip-Boy in which you can insert your smart phone to make it the real deal as there is an app for it. The app is a second screen experience that will aid players in navigating their in-game Pip-Boy. The app will of course work without the Pip-Boy.

The Collectors Edition will be release on November 1oth for PS4, Xbox One and the PC.

Fallout 4 will actually begin in the pre-bomb time only to see the world destroyed and the player, who can be male or female by the way, to discover just what happened, 200 years after the blast.

VATS has been slightly changed and is now moving in slow motion to add some time sensitive pressure for players. Talking to NPCs is now fully dynamic and looks more like Mass Effect for example. Also, the dog we saw in the trailer can fetch and items for you and the like.

Fallout 4 will also come with an in-game level editor which will allow you to destroy and build your settlement in the game which will allow players to add people to and set them up with supplies, generators and terminals. Are you ready to build you own town? This town can be attacked by raiders so you may want to set up some turrets and defenses. Players will also be able to build items from loot that is found in the world such as a scope for a weapon.

Bethesda has done quite a lot over the past few years and it really shows.
