Today Codemasters has finally taken the curtain off the GRID 2 release date which was previously only announced as a ‘Summer 2013’ release. The developer has announced that GRID 2 will drop in North America on May 28th and the 31st in the UK and presumably for the rest of Europe.
This comes to us as a bit of a relief as ‘summer’ usually means July or August in PR lingo nowadays. For now, yes Europe you will get some more goodies (to be announced in due time, according to Codies), Codemasters has also announced that there will be 2 special editions along with the vanilla GRID 2 game disc which will be available on PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC. You can pre-order the ‘McLaren MP4-12C GT3 Special Edition’ at the retailer of choice now as well as the ‘Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 GT’.
