Namco Bandai is bringing a new and authentic Star Trek game to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on April 23rd which is very much based on the new movies from JJ Abrams.
Star Trek The Video Game is being developed by Digital Extremes who also worked on the BioShock franchise, Homefront’s PC port, Dark Sector and The Darkness II – so there is plenty of expertise behind the studio.
This first entry into the developer diary focuses on the coop aspects of Star Trek as well as the authenticity and immersion we can expect from this third person action game.
