Today 2K Games and Gearbox let the cat out of the bag and maybe the most obvious of game releases will become reality on March 24th when Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel will come to the PS4 and Xbox One via Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for $60.

Borderlands Collection

The package includes all of the DLC for both games as well which is quite the deal, especially since 4 player coop via split screen will be included as well – bring your friends!

2K and Gearbox announced today that Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One on March 24th, 2015 for $59.99. Fans will be able to experience Handsome Jack’s rise to power in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and his reign as maniacal Hyperion CEO in Borderlands 2, in one package and all in high definition. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection also includes all of the downloadable content for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 2. Another first in Borderlands history is 4-player split screen with up to four friends playing together on a single television. Additionally, accomplished Vault Hunters can even transfer their saves from prior-gen systems to next-gen within the same console family!

In addition to the regular vanilla edition of the game, 2K also announced today, a very limited run of 5,000 Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Claptrap-in-a-Box Editions will be available on March 24, 2015 for $399 and will include a remote-controlled Claptrap that can speak in “Claptrap”, stream live footage and is fully mobile while balancing on one wheel.
